As of 11:15 p.m. on Monday nearly two thousand residents in Connecticut were without electricity, according to Eversource.

A report suggested that a total 750 outrage’s were reported in Stamford, 233 in Brookfield, 133 in Weston, 130 in Clinton, 103 in Bethany, and 130 in Plymouth.

People, who are customer of United Illuminating Co. Can report by making a call to 800-722-5584. Customers of Eversource can report an outage by making a call to -800-286-2000 or can use their website to “Report an Outage” link at www.eversource.com

As of 8:45 p.m. Monday about eight hundred residents of Connecticut were without electricity, according to Eversource. Communities which reported the most outages were: Voluntown, 168, Sterling, 165, Plymouth, 160, Stafford, 143, Litchfield, 121, Oxford, 84, Greenwich, 49, and Madison, 40.

Original post: The Nor'easter was moving towards the regions of Connecticut now and already winds were whipping around and close to thousand residents were without electricity. Winds were expected to gust up to 55 mph on Monday night in Connecticut and possibly 60 mph along the coast.

Eversource reported as of 5:20 p.m. that 988 outages were reported in Connecticut including: Naugatuck, 321, Plymouth, 160, Stafford, 143, Southbury, 124, and Oxford 93.

Those numbers were expected to increase as the night goes along and into Tuesday morning.
