The scorching summer heat is all over the country. Telugu states received rainfall after which there is a decline in the temperatures. But the heat wave is taking a toll on the rest of the nation. The national capital New Delhi recorded a temperature of 49 degrees which is the first-ever for the city. There are a lot of cases of dehydration, high fever, rashes, and loose motions reported among the children and elderly people along with the daily labour who need to sweat out in the sun. The younger children are at a higher risk because of the rise in the temperatures in New Delhi. There are cases of muscle destruction reported in labourers.

Heat strokes are quite common in high temperatures which also can lead to brain damage and even there are cases of deaths. High urbanization, inadequate green cover and over-concretisation are the reasons for high temperatures and heat waves. New Delhi is one of the most polluted cities of the globe and there is rarely unpaved area left in Delhi. The heat load is increased in the environment and a lot of trees are cut. Though the government of Delhi imposed several restrictions, things are out of control for now. Delhi is expected to have the hottest ever summer this year.
