Analysis

Selfie Raja Movie Review

The first half of Selfie Raja has been poor in content and has been indulged with routine and predictable episodes. The boring entertainment and the comedy episodes irritate the audience and the interval episode creates enough interest on the film. However the first half of Selfie Raja has some interesting episodes which pin hopes on the second half.

The second half of Selfie Raja falls flat completely because of the boring narration and the major flaws throughout the movie. Many unwanted episodes take the major role in the movie and the audience will be left confused of the unwanted songs which come at regular intervals and disturb the flow. The climax has been decent and is the only saviour of the film. On the whole the second half of Selfie Raja pulls down the film by miles and ends up tragic.

Performance

Allari Naresh who proved his mettle for comic roles came out with his best performance in the movie as Selfie Raja. He has been perfect in the role and he carried the entire film on his shoulders. Sakshi Chaudary has done one more bold role which has enough scope to perform. Kamna Ranawat has been decent and her screen presence has been decent. All the other actors delivered out their best for the film in their assigned roles.

The story of Selfie Raja has nothing new to reveal and is completely predictable, outdated. The screenplay and the dialogues lack enough grip and are poor. The songs have been decent but they have not been placed well. The cinematography has been decent and the editing has been ok. The production values have been decent and the director fails to keep the audience engaging.

Final Word

Allari Naresh continues his series of debacles with Selfie Raja as the film hardly gives a chance to smile. A routine and predictable entertainer that can be given a huge skip.
