State Police Searching For Missing Teen from Sterling

The Connecticut state police is searching for a missing teen from Sterling, who has been missing since the day after Christmas Police said, Todd Allen left his home, which is at the Dixon Road on a dirt bike approximately at 1 p.m and has not returned yet.

According to a news release, on Wednesday, 6 p.m state police suspended  further search for the night. The state department of Energy and Environment Protection will be continuing the search from the next morning, if any new information is developed towards the missing case, the state police will take further action.

Todd Allen is being described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and is about 130 pounds, with brown color hair and blue eyes. Allen was last seen in blue jeans and a camouflage sweatshirt with a backpack.

Honda XR100 was the dirt bike, in which he left his home in an unknown direction. State police also said, the last phone contact with him was on 26 December around 1:50 p.m, when he told that he had an accident and hurt his leg.

New laws for Connecticut

Connecticut State Police are actively searching the area and have deployed the State Police helicopter as well as K-9 teams to include search and rescue dogs. Assisting in the search efforts are the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Plain field Police Department, Coventry (RI) Police Department and area Fire Departments.
