Liquor stores will close by 10pm On NYE

After a devastating year like 2020, New Year’s Eve seems likes a day where everyone wants to relax and let go. However, the pandemic has brought a catalyst of changes. New Years eve just like any other day of 2020 will ensure everyone is following social distancing protocols and rules whilst partying.

One of the rules which will be followed is that liquor establishments across the state will be closed by 10 p.m. This statement was made by the state Department of Consumer Protection.

Citizens all over the world are eager to say goodbye to 2020 and welcome the new year, in hope of better events which will take place- the opposite of what has happened this year.

Connecticut residents are requested to purchase alcohol before 10pm and are requested to party indoors and not gather in large groups.

Bars and Restaurants in the state of Connecticut will be open past 10 pm. Liquor stores will be the only establishments to close at 10pm.

Those who wish to take out alcohol from eateries across the state must follow COVID-19 protocols which will be stated at the respective establishment they wish to take out from.
