The second wave of coronavirus calmed down slowly and there are signs of the third wave in some of the western countries. Several countries like the USA, UK, Australia and others conducted some intense vaccination drives because of which the cases came to control in these countries. In India, the wave saw a steep decline but the daily tally of reported cases is around 40,000. The vaccination drive is going on a snail pace in many countries. Several studies told that the third wave is arriving very soon. WHO revealed about the disparity in allocating vaccinations for countries. There are five countries of the globe that are at higher risk of coronavirus even after plenty of vaccinations are available in the market.

India, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines and Bangladesh are the countries that are at higher risk because of the slow pace of vaccination drive when compared to the population. The vaccination percent in India is 14.3 percent for now. In Pakistan, only 5 percent of the population got vaccinated. 10.3 percent of Indonesians are vaccinated till date. In the Philippines, the vaccinated population percentage is 6.5 and in Bangladesh, it is just 3.1 percent. The health experts are suggesting the countries to fast up the vaccination drive and process to battle against the coronavirus and the upcoming variants. Some of them are suggesting a third booster dose for the people in the future. Vaccination is the most effective strategy to crush the pandemic says, health experts.
