US President Donald Trump quickly seized the opportunity after Iran expressed regret to its Gulf neighbors for its ongoing attacks in the current conflict. In a post on Truth Social, the 79-year-old stated that Iran is no longer the "intimidator of the Middle East" but rather a defeated entity. The Republican asserted that Iran’s apology was prompted solely by the continuous assaults from the US and its ally Israel in the present warfare. He went on to say that this marks the first occasion in thousands of years that Iran has “ever been defeated by neighboring Middle Eastern nations. ” "Iran, which is facing severe defeat, has said sorry and given in to its Middle Eastern neighbors, promising that it will cease fire on them. This commitment was only made due to the unyielding attacks from the US and Israel. They sought to dominate and govern the Middle East. It is the first time that Iran has faced defeat, in thousands of years, at the hands of nearby Middle Eastern countries. They expressed gratitude to President Trump. I responded with, 'You’re welcome! '" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"Iran is no longer seen as the 'Intimidator of the Middle East,' but rather, they are now the 'DEFEATED NATION OF THE MIDDLE EAST,' and will remain so for many years until they either give up or, more likely, completely fall apart! Today, Iran will endure severe strikes! Areas and groups that hadn't previously been considered as targets are now facing complete destruction and a certain fate due to Iran’s reckless actions," the US President continued.
